In 2005 I took the GAMSAT exam for myself so I know how hard it can be, especially for people who are still completing other studies or working full time.
Before making a career change to medicine, I worked as a professional educator for many years in adult education. I have a great deal of experience in preparing students for exams and designing and teaching exam courses.
It was this knowledge which I applied to achieve success for myself in GAMSAT.
I don't have a first degree in science, and although I spent less than 4 months studying science before the exam I achieved a GAMSAT score which put me in the top 10% of those taking the test.
Being in the top 20% will normally guarantee you an interview.
This helped me gain my place at St. George's University of London where I currently study on the 4 year GEP MBBS program.
I know that success in exams depends on adapting your approach to the specific exam you are taking and finding strategies towards this goal.
Nowhere is this more true than for GAMSAT, which is a very specialised type of exam which requires a specialised strategy.

What's in the manual?
First of all what it isn't.
It doesn't contain "secrets" which will enable you to pass GAMSAT with little or no effort.
But it does contain techniques which work and which you can begin using immediately to improve your score.
It isn't an overpriced science textbook.
There are many good textbooks on the market already, I recommend the best ones in the GAMSAT Review. Beware of other sites selling glorified A level books for hundreds of pounds.
However I will tell you how to direct your science studies to the areas most likely to come up in the test.
It isn't just 10 pages of instructions and 100 pages of useless unofficial practice questions.
My book does contain practice questions but the focus is on explaining methods and techniques you can use to SOLVE the questions.
Remember, success in GAMSAT is less about what you know and more about knowing the test, and how you can make IT work to your advantage.
