I wrote to you some time ago requesting advice, just before the GAMSAT exam. I had done a practice paper and scored badly and needed some help. Anyway, I wanted to give you some feedback on your GAMSAT review.

Firstly, I scored 65 in the exam and now have a place in Nottingham. I am absolutely delighted and I want to thank you for your booklet, which helped me a lot. I think it is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of sitting the exam in the future.

So you have finally decided to take the plunge, transform your life, and start
off on the road to becoming a doctor. You meet all the eligbility criteria, you
can tick all the boxes, then you look a bit more closely at the details of the
GAMSAT. This is not just a demanding examination that lasts a whole day, but
one that will test your knowledge of Chemistry, Biology and Physics up to first
year university level.

But that's not fair! If you are like me, you last studied these subjects at 'A'
level, and in my case more than 25 years ago. And, even worse, the annual test
date is but a few months away. Was I concerned - very; did I panic - no.
Fortunately, Peter Griffiths, a current medical student has written an
incredibly useful book based on his experiences, the 'Griffiths GAMSAT Review'.

Why is this book so good? Quite simply, because it eliminates uncertainty.
It spells out clearly and concisely both how to prepare for the GAMSAT as well
as how to manage your time on the day of the test, to maximise your chance of
sucess. In particular, the tips and guidance on how to approach the written
essays are so good the 'Griffiths GAMSAT Review' is worth having just for this
alone!

And how did I do? No less than amazingly well! I achieved 92%ile overall, and a
whopping 95%ile (top 5% of all students) for the science paper. Thank you,
