Griffiths GAMSAT Review, GAMSAT preparation manual

The most complete and useful GAMSAT preparation manual available

Hi Peter,

I just wanted to email you after the release of the GAMSAT results last week. Thank you so much for providing such a valuable and insightful resource. Your book was the most valuable material I got my hands on in all my preparation.

I am from a Structural Engineering background, so in my A Levels and degree I wrote a total of about five essays. I knew Section II would need a lot of work, whilst on Section III I knew the Physics questions would appear relatively familiar, but I would have to learn everything else from scratch (not having A Level Biology or Chemistry).

Thankfully, I discovered your book with six months to go, before I'd bought any resources. I used the strategies in your book to direct which ACER materials I looked at when, and which revision guides etc. to buy.

I have to say the time and energy I devoted to the thing waned as the exam approached, and I became almost convinced that I would not 'pass', nevertheless I continued to use the strategies you suggest about skipping around the paper, and how to guess intelligently.

I'm happy to say that I got a score of 68,76,54:63 (or 66 for St. George's, which would be my first choice), on about the 87th/88th percentile. I am astonished with the results, especially as my confidence had dropped so low before the test that I didn't apply in the end for 2012 entry. Having gained this result I'm inclined to apply for 2013!

Thank you once again for this confidence-booster of a resource!
